Increasingly, nations have been informed that they need to evolve into a knowledge society and the knowledge economy will dominate in the decades to come. The industrial or factory model will give way to an economy and society that places important on knowledge as an asset, commodity and resource. However, it is still unclear what is the 'knowledge society' and 'knowledge economy'?. The follwing list of resources attempt to explain what is the knowledge society.
