RINGKASAN KURSUS :
Kursus ini bertujuan mendedahkan pelajar kepada peranan internet dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Pelajar diperkenalkan kepada pelabagi peralatan dan perkakas yang terdapat pada internet dan kaedah menggunakannya dalam pengajaran & pembelajaran. Penekanan ialah terhadap perspektif teori pembelajaran yang menjadi pengasas kepada penggunaan internet dalam pengajaran. Pelajar dikehendaki menggunakan pelbagai peralatan yang terdapat dan merancangkan suatu pelajaran berasakan internet.

PENILAIAN KURSUS (COURSE EVALUATION)

Peperiksaan Akhir Semester  (30%)
Ujian ini terdiri daripada soalan- soalan yang berkaitan dengan topik-topik kuliah. Fokus ialah terhadap perspektif teori tentang penggunaan internet dalam pengajaran.
(The test consists of 4 questions directly related to the lecture topics. Focus will be on the theoretical perspectives of internet-based learning).

Participation (10%)
Markah diberi untuk penyertaan dalam perbicangan dalam kelas.

Tugasan 1 (15%)
Pilih satu topik dan cari 15 laman web yang dapat menerangkan lebih lanjut topik bekenaan. Pilih website yang beraneka jenis seperti 'games', kuiz, imej, simulasi, bunyi, animasi, text, dll.

Projek (Project) (45%)
Pelajar akan membina suatu laman web berinteraktif. Pelajar digalakkan menggunakan peralatan & sumber yang sedia ada pada internet.
(Students will work on building an interactive website. Students are encouraged to use as may of the tools available on the internet.
Evaluation will be based on):
a) pemilihan kandungan (selection of content)
b) reka bentuk laman web (design of the website)
c) tahap interaktiviti (level of interactivity)
d) penggunaan peralatan internet (use of internet tools)
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course aims at exposing students to the role of the internet in teaching and learning. Students are introduced to the varitey of tools available on the internet and how to use them in teaching and learning. Emphasis will be on the theoretical perspectives of using the internet in teaching. Students will be required to design and develop an internet-based lesson using available tools and resources.
