APPLICATION OF STATISTICS IN EDUCATIONAL
                         RESEARCH (ASER)
Welcome to ASER,
Application of Statistics in Educational Research or ASER is an online course for students interested in applying statistics when analysing educational data. ASER attempts to present statistics in a form that is easily understood without having to grapple with lengthy formulas and tedious computation..
Statistical tools are explained in the context of real-world settings to enable learners to see the immediate application of such tools in analysing educational data. Learners are encouraged to use the online calculators in analysing data.
ASER also shows how to use SPSS, a software used by educationists and social scientists for statistical analysis. The steps and procedures for using SPSS in analysing educational data are presented. Emphasis is on how to interpret the different outputs of the statistical tools used.
It is sincerely hoped that you will you enjoy this online course and participate in the Discussion Forum. Feedback would be much appreciated.
