Preschool and primary school teaching should be frequently reviewed to meet the changing needs of society and the global marketplace. Some educators may argue that there is nothing really new in primary school education and 'if it is not broken, why fix it'.
On the contrary, there are many new ideas, philosophies, approaches, methods and procedures in primary school teaching that have become popular in the last few decades. The internet consists of numerous useful tools and materials for educators to update themselves with these new ideas and apporoaches that may have a significant impact in the way the young are educated.
Seeing how others in the world educate their future generation can provide insights into how Malaysian educators may adapt and adopt strategies and methods that will enrich what is done in the classroom.
