The Master of Education (MEd) programme is a 42 credit programme aimed at educators who want to enhance their academic and professional knowledge and skills. The Programme is approved by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and has provisionL accredication [KPT / JPS (KN 9151) 8/13, PA 9151]. Through disciplined inquiry and reflective thinking, the Programme is designed to:
provide students with the philosophical, sociological and psychological foundations of educational practice
develop skills for solving educational problems in a wide range of educational settings, whether in teaching or training.
provide students with the research tools to actively engage in educational research at the graduate level
examine several models of instruction for building effective teaching to meet diverse learning needs
provide educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote the effective use of technology in a learner-centred environment
provide students with multiple means of assessing and evaluating diverse student learning
